Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how NaukriBuddy ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use the NaukriBuddy app for Android (the "App"). NaukriBuddy does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, mobile number or email address. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law.

यह गोपनीयता नीति बताती है कि जब आप Android के लिए NaukriBuddy ऐप ("ऐप") का उपयोग करते हैं, तब NaukriBuddy ("हम", "हमारा") आपका निजी डेटा कैसे संभालता है। NaukriBuddy में खाता बनाना ज़रूरी नहीं है, और हम आपका नाम, मोबाइल नंबर या ईमेल पता नहीं मांगते। हम निजी डेटा को लागू भारतीय कानून के अनुसार संभालते हैं।
Information We Collect
- Technical information. A random identifier for your installation, your device and App version, your language preference, and your IP address.
- Approximate location. The state and city associated with your IP address. We do not collect GPS or precise location.
- Profile information you provide (optional). Your qualification, date of birth, reservation category, state, and job interests.
- Quiz and friends information. Your quiz streak, badges, invitation code and friend links, and the final score of each daily quiz, which is counted anonymously.
- Buddy conversations. The questions you ask our AI assistant, Buddy, and its replies.
Your saved jobs, reminders, quiz answers, and the photos, signatures and documents you prepare with the App's tools stay on your device and are not sent to us. We do not use advertising or analytics services.

आपकी सहेजी हुई नौकरियां, रिमाइंडर, क्विज़ के उत्तर, और ऐप के टूल से आपके तैयार किए गए फोटो, हस्ताक्षर और दस्तावेज़ आपके फोन पर ही रहते हैं और हमें नहीं भेजे जाते। हम विज्ञापन या एनालिटिक्स सेवाओं का उपयोग नहीं करते।
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide and personalise the App, including job recommendations, eligibility checks, notices, the daily quiz and Buddy; to send the reminders and notifications you enable; to keep the App secure and prevent misuse; and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing of Information
We share information only with the providers who help us run the App, and only as needed:
- Google, which verifies that the App is genuine and provides the artificial-intelligence service used by Buddy. When you ask Buddy a question that cannot be answered from our own job data, the question, your recent messages and a summary of your profile (excluding your date of birth) are sent to Google to prepare a reply. Buddy's answers may be inaccurate, so please check the official notification before you apply, and do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, which store our data on our servers on our behalf and under our instructions.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside India.

Retention and Deletion
We keep your information until you delete it. You can delete all of your data, from both our servers and your device, at any time in the App under Settings → Delete all my data. This cannot be undone. Uninstalling the App removes only the data on your device, so please use the deletion option first if you also want the data on our servers removed. Backups are kept for 14 days and then expire. If you cannot access the App, write to us at the address below.
डेटा रखना और हटाना
हम आपकी जानकारी तब तक रखते हैं जब तक आप उसे हटा नहीं देते। आप ऐप में सेटिंग्स → मेरा सारा डेटा हटाएं से किसी भी समय अपना पूरा डेटा हमारे सर्वर और अपने फोन, दोनों से हटा सकते हैं। इसे वापस नहीं किया जा सकता। ऐप अनइंस्टॉल करने से केवल आपके फोन का डेटा हटता है, इसलिए यदि आप हमारे सर्वर का डेटा भी हटवाना चाहते हैं, तो पहले हटाने का विकल्प उपयोग करें। बैकअप 14 दिन रखे जाते हैं और फिर समाप्त हो जाते हैं। यदि आप ऐप तक नहीं पहुंच पा रहे हैं, तो नीचे दिए पते पर हमें लिखें।
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption of data in transit, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights
You may ask to know what personal data we hold, to have it corrected or erased, and to raise a grievance. You can change your profile and notification settings, or delete your data, in the App.

Children
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
बच्चे
ऐप 18 वर्ष और उससे अधिक उम्र के उपयोगकर्ताओं के लिए है। हम जानबूझकर बच्चों का निजी डेटा नहीं लेते।
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date above shows when it was last changed, and we will tell you in the App about any significant change.
बदलाव
